Sound Baths in Frankfort – Thursday evenings and one weekend afternoon per month

These group experiences incorporate the sounds & vibrations of Tibetan Singing Bowls and a very large Earth Gong. They are called "Sound baths" because you are bathed in sound, while remaining fully clothed, laying on the floor.

These instruments create a unique blend of vibration and sound, capable of creating transformation on all levels -- physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. These sound baths will combine various techniques with sacred geometry, utilizing the Tibetan Singing Bowls and Earth Gong. The Earth Gong is tuned to the sound of AUM, a frequency of 136.1 hz, which is the same sound and frequency as our mother Earth. Its corresponding color is blue/green and the corresponding Chakra is the Heart (4th). The Earth Gong coaxes us into harmony with our mother planet and the movement of the Earth.

During these sound baths, each participant will be bathed with multi-tonal overtones ("healing" vibrations) and harmonic waves which will evoke natural healing of mind, body and spirit. Stress melts away, while the brain moves into Alpha and Theta states, triggering sympathetic nervous system response that lowers blood pressure, slows the heart rate, relieves pain, and more.

Recipients may also sit-up for the sound bath if they choose; this is a perfect opportunity for deep meditation/contemplation. Usui Reiki Training & Attunement, All Levels

Do something really good for yourself (and your family!). Take this time to learn a system of self-healing called Reiki. As part of this training you will receive a manual, learn the history of Reiki, learn about the chakra system, and discover a hands-on self-treatment you can do for yourself everyday.

About Reiki Training...

This Reiki Level II Training & Attunement is of the original and traditional school, straight from Japan, known as Usui or Usui Shiki Ryoho. Danielle Engstrom is a full Reiki Master & Certified Teacher of this school of Reiki.

Training starts at 1:00 pm and goes until sometime between 5:00-6:00 pm, depending on how many students attend. The cost is $150 and this includes a light vegetarian supper. As is tradition, there is a prerequisite that you have experienced a Reiki healing session with Danielle before receiving any Reiki training -- so if you haven't had a session with her, please call or email to schedule one! FYI, individual sessions take approx. 1.5 hrs., with a full hour of hands-on Reiki time and a cost of $60.

*** If you have ALREADY HAD Level II Reiki and want to take this training as a refresher, you may attend for $50. ***

A $50 deposit is requested ahead of time, with the balance due at the time of the training.
