About Group Sound Baths…
These group experiences incorporate the sounds & vibrations of Tibetan Singing Bowls and a very large Earth Gong. They are called "Sound baths" because you are bathed in sound, while remaining fully clothed, laying on the floor. (At Innerpeace Healthcare in Joliet, they also have zero-gravity chairs at no extra charge.)
These instruments create a unique blend of vibration and sound, capable of creating transformation on all levels -- physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. These sound baths will combine various techniques with sacred geometry, creating opportunities to release old patterns, create new ones and "shed" energetic debris. The Earth Gong is tuned to the sound of AUM, a frequency of 136.1 hz, which is the same sound and frequency as our mother Earth. Its corresponding color is blue/green and the corresponding Chakra is the Heart (4th). The Earth Gong coaxes us into harmony with our mother planet and the movement of the Earth.
During these sound baths, each participant will be bathed with multi-tonal overtones ("healing" vibrations) and harmonic waves which will evoke natural healing of mind, body and spirit. Stress melts away, while the brain moves into Alpha and/or Theta states, triggering a sympathetic nervous system response that lowers blood pressure, slows the heart rate, relieves pain, and more.
Please register in advance, as there is some preparation information to help you get the most out of this extraordinary experience.

Individual Sound Sessions
Available in Chicago at Balance Health & Wellness and also in Oak Park. Sessions take approx. 1 - 1.5 hrs. with 50-60 minutes of sound
An individual session is all about you and only you. A typical session incorporates the sounds & vibrations of Tibetan Singing Bowls and other Tibetan instruments, which are layed on and all around the recipient and played in patterns (based in sacred geometry). A total of 10 to 18 bowls, bells, etc. are typically used in a private session.
Like the group sound baths, these instruments create a unique blend of vibration and sound, capable of creating transformation on all levels -- physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. Again, various techniques utilizing sacred geometry create opportunities to release old patterns, create new ones and "shed" energetic debris.
During an individual session, the client lays (fully clothed) on a BioMat and is "massaged" with multi-tonal overtones (sounds & vibrations) and harmonic waves which will evoke natural healing of mind, body and spirit. Stress melts away, while the brain moves into Alpha state, triggering sympathetic nervous system response that lowers blood pressure, slows the heart rate, relieves pain, and more.
